It's not there yet (ish) but even Microsoft forced (gab i believe) to remove posts under threat of terminating their contract.

2018-09-19 20:35:27 UTC

They backed down

2018-09-19 20:35:28 UTC

They were hosted on Azure

2018-09-19 20:35:38 UTC

And Gab moved to a new provider

2018-09-19 20:35:53 UTC

For now, and whereto, Amazon, Google Cloud?

2018-09-19 20:36:13 UTC

Get on the block chain bruh

2018-09-19 20:37:44 UTC

Haha, Firewalls fix everything, NAT fixes everything, WAF fixes everything, Blockchain fixes everything .. ๐Ÿ˜›

2018-09-19 20:38:09 UTC

Does blockchain have blinking blue LED's if not im not buying

2018-09-19 20:39:46 UTC

I'm sure there's a way to create a dedicated walled off server OS with a hardware standard, for people to build their own distributed server node in exchange for a crypto token of some sort, and be secure at the same time.

2018-09-19 20:40:15 UTC

Virtual distributed servers

2018-09-19 20:40:32 UTC

Sure, until they just cut your fiber optic, no more internet.

2018-09-19 20:40:43 UTC

The ultimate deplatform

2018-09-19 20:40:53 UTC

I guess, but at that point you've got bigger problems

2018-09-19 20:41:56 UTC

And this has been done to several datacenters allready, for now alwasy because these were safe harbors to criminals solely hosting botnety c&c and scam sites and the like but in the end the backbone is only a few companies.

2018-09-19 20:42:30 UTC

I mean, the thing is there is no way to hide or jus tkeep running away, at some point you have to fight back.

2018-09-19 20:42:47 UTC

I'm talking video hosting, not DDoS bot farms

2018-09-19 20:43:37 UTC

Thats what i am saying, it is not impossible to force you off the internet completely, yes for now it has been used against legitimate criminals, buit that was the case for banning an account on twatser as well

2018-09-19 20:43:54 UTC

Obviously the slope is more like a 90 degrtee cliff at this point

2018-09-19 20:44:22 UTC

Yeah, but I'm in America, where the physical infrastructure is legally required to be free and open.

2018-09-19 20:44:34 UTC

Uuh

2018-09-19 20:44:39 UTC

Not wanymore

2018-09-19 20:44:51 UTC

Everything else is a math problem

2018-09-19 20:44:56 UTC

You no longer have article 2 or net neutrality

2018-09-19 20:45:22 UTC

ISP's are private companies who can legaly deny anywone service ...

2018-09-19 20:45:25 UTC

right?

2018-09-19 20:45:37 UTC

Net neutrality is younger than FCC regulations from the 30s

2018-09-19 20:45:43 UTC

No

2018-09-19 20:46:10 UTC

It's treated the same as phone lines

2018-09-19 20:46:21 UTC

Internet is no longer under article 2 though thge ISP's fought that and it got repealed

2018-09-19 20:46:31 UTC

So they are not teh same asa phone lines

2018-09-19 20:46:36 UTC

That has nothing to do with this

2018-09-19 20:49:52 UTC

Ok, so then how is the discussion on disconnecting customers from the internet a thing if it is agains tthe law, how can the music industry demand these things in courts against ISP's? In articles on tehse subjhects the net neutrality discussion and the article 2 classification are always mentioned.

2018-09-19 20:51:27 UTC

Jesus fuck, dude. Learn to type.

2018-09-19 20:51:46 UTC

I hope the internet burns tbh

2018-09-19 20:51:51 UTC

2018-09-19 20:51:51 UTC
