It does not matter to us, but to those executives that cant let their companies be the target of hit pieces like this. Its plain good old blackmail from the media towards the platforms.
We can laugh at the media, but we are not invited to boardroom meetings, the writers of these hit pieces are and they get all the access and will be accomodated to prevent articles liek this or to do damage control after them.
I'm sure there's a way to create a dedicated walled off server OS with a hardware standard, for people to build their own distributed server node in exchange for a crypto token of some sort, and be secure at the same time.
And this has been done to several datacenters allready, for now alwasy because these were safe harbors to criminals solely hosting botnety c&c and scam sites and the like but in the end the backbone is only a few companies.
Thats what i am saying, it is not impossible to force you off the internet completely, yes for now it has been used against legitimate criminals, buit that was the case for banning an account on twatser as well
