You’re comparing where we’re at now to 100 years ago? Huh?
I don't see why not? Humans don't change, technology does
If socialism doesn't work economically speaking, why is the GDP per capita of Norway higher than the one of the USA?
>socialism
>Public schools, fire department, law enforcement
Holy shit you're retarded
Oil $$$ you dumb fuck
and there's less niggers and spics there
@Deleted User Why is the average income of Norweigians higher once they immigrate to the US from norway?
Agh, I can’t have discussions with people that compare social democracy to socialism or communism.
You’re all just small minded aren’t open to new ideas, it sucks
Agh, I can’t have discussions with people that compare don't understand basic economics.
You're just small minded aren’t open to new ideas, it sucks
yo logic is retarded
like yo genes
Are you going to dodge my question?
Or claim you have a headache again?
Capitalism and social democracy are both economies where capital is privately owned and managed, and therefore bosses and managers, the owning class, are rewarded according to THEIR WORKER'S labor, along with the capital they, the owning class, invested, with a small portion of this reward is given to the workers through wages. It’s still capitalism
What was your question?
Is your scroll wheel broken?
Lol
@Fitzydog because they pay less in taxes in the US. Was that a GOTCHA question?
I wanted you to actually look it up
I’m doing that now.
Bernie "the cuck" sanders apparently spoke at my school today
You gave us the "similarities" between capitalism and "social democracy", now how about the differences?
All "social" ideologies have one thing in common, and that's the assumption that the GROUP is more important and knows better, and has the moral authority to dictate what the individual does.
I tell those people, "Go fuck yourself."
Yeah, you can still place importance on individualism while living in a social democratic society. It’s pretty selfish to only care about yourself when you live in a community with people that can’t don’t even have $400 for emergency money. Or a decent job, most people who work a minimum wage job are still on some sort of government assistant. Anyways, the moral of the story is that yes, you as an Individual is important but if you have people living around you that’re suffering or are poor the community should chime in and donate or help
> the community should chime in and donate or help
there is a difference between helping people voluntarily, and someone else taking your money and deciding what to do with it
Yes, voluntarily
Billionaires that take advantage of the free market don’t voluntarily help people that are poor. They don’t give a shit about the lower class or lower middle class
Sure they do
How do you know?
How you know that they do?
many famous philanthropists are billionaires
^
bill gates is one
Many charities are founded by rich people
and then there's others
