it upsets me when people ignore the bases
so good effort there
yeah its not finished without the base
i had a lot of fun with the bases for my undead
and its not hard since I use this wasteland theme for mine
pools of blood, half eaten rattos, shit like that
heh nice
I ordered some deseret stuff to put on the bases soon, dead cow heads ect
nice
I need to find my minis, they're in a little tuppaware container with padding and shit
but I haven't seen them in like 8 years at least
heh I picked up after a long break, sold everything I had back then :/
buzt would have to repaint most anyways
one thing that looks great but I don't see a lot of people do is incorporate the terrain of the base into their mini, so matching mud splatters on legs or in your case maybe orange dust on boots
I had one dude holding a pair of severed heads so put blood on the cobbles underneath the heads
yus but im too somewhat hesitant with that
somethung always ends up on the boots but Im not ready for weathering, just afraid I ruin an otherwise fine paintjob
heh you don't have to go nuts
I'm not talking about coating the whole mini in desert dust
Hmm
A shiny grey base
this is tastefully done and the base looks awesome lol
oh yeah
Yeah
man I can't find any photos
my necromancer was the tits
I'd like to see it
I need to go up in the loft at some point to put Christmas shit away, I'll see if I can find the box
how are those grip things? they didn't exist last time I painted minis lol
really nice, just got them days ago and wonder how I did without them
I mean its really comfortable to hold the mini while painting without fear of touching any not dryed parts
good weight to them?
rather light
that's a shame, I think I'd prefer them to have a bit of heft
true but it does what its supposed to so thats fine, use em for spaying basecoat on the models too
my dad's built himself a mini spray booth for his scale models
ye II used a cardboardbox before but atm I just lean out the window and spray them one by one, too cold outside too
