But I still support such application because it is the right thing to do.
i'm for cities making their own ordinances about that stuff @M4Gunner
thats more fair
My one stump with Libertarianism is the military.
that way if people dont want something, they can move to a town of people who agree
On one hand I don't think we should be forced to pay for something we don't support.
maybe I have become black pilled, but if people have lost their freedom and liberty because they never tried to preserve it, I have no sympathy despite being idealogically libertarian
On another I know that we would lose the liberty that we do have if we do not sacrifice some tax dollars to fund a military.
well we all use the military equally at least
dont be an autistic ancap 😏
instead be a chad minarchist
dont be cucked by roads
My libertarian compromise has been "as small of a military as is necessary to protect our country from foreign invaders".
as much as I think being an ancap is a joke
bad plan
I'm a minarchist i guess
the government does a shit job in maintaining roads
the military does not succeed through a strategy of having exactly enough
True
what is proper is to completely overwhelm the enemy to the effect that the war is ended as quickly as possible
That problem has been pervading my mind the last week.
Whether or not it is okay for the government to take a little bit of liberty for the sake of protecting liberty.
i think we should spend every dollar we can on defense
What people hate about libertarianism is it means they don't get to play their part in being God.
and helicopters
being the best can barely win a war, being the best by a huge margin will end it quicker
Being the best by a huge margin prevents the war in the first place.
exactly
send 1 billion men and not a single man on either side will die
Regardless.
Do you see the problem I have?
yes
just as the old latin adage goes, "Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum"
if you want peace, prepare for war
thats why libertarianism and ancapism doest work
well...
maybe I paint libertarianism with a much larger brush then I should, but I consider any idealogy that supports or is the basis of the US constitution to be libertarianism
I mean, I cannot really ditch Libertarianism though.
It seems to me like the only solid philosophy that can be secular.
well there are other philosophies that are secular, but they are communism and fascism lol
