some are more physical
involuntary movements and such
And not all verbal ticks are words or phrases

I make pops and such, but I don't swear as a tick or anything
Imagine having tourettes and not using your N-word pass....
my ticks have changed over time, as well
I never really felt the need to use it as an N-word pass, until it was already established among long time friends and family that my tourrettes didn't manifest in that manner. So, I probably wouldn't be able to get away with it.
