i don't know how fast sound travels
but you could figure out the distance if u knew
2 seconds= 1km (roughly)
although atmospheric conditions can change the speed
At 20 °C (68 °F), the speed of sound in air is about 343 metres per second (1,235 km/h; 1,125 ft/s; 767 mph; 667 kn), or a kilometre in 2.9 s or a mile in 4.7 s.
sure
the mile in 5 seconds seems really slow to me
@Slavic Infidel Is it just me or does the phrasing of that headline make it sound like it was the missile that made the mistake?
lol, it does
so i just ran the numbers, we should expect a delay of 55 seconds for an explosion 11 miles away
and our delay is 11 seconds
that video's shady as hell
or, conversely, the plane is only 2.5 miles away
^^^
I still say that speed sounds very slow to me.
sound is slow sherlock
explosion is 3-4km away
slowish. i just never realized it was almost 5 seconds per mile. was always told it was between 1 and 2.
plane was also aroudn 2-3km high iirc
I always thought it was 1-2 seconds too
alright i did the math here
for km
I never did the math even though I knew that sound went at ~340 m/s
the plane appears 9 pixels across in a clear frame
a boeing 737-800 is 40 meters in length
using an apparent size calculator i found online, that comes out to about 7 miles
or 12 km
keep in mind its the nato shills that are pushing this
higgins and some ukrainian army guy with a muslim name
i'm waiting for an actual investigation
i'll think it through if either an iranian or ukrainian source confirms a missile strike
but right now all the sources i'm hearing the missile story from have an anti-iran bias
or get their info from someone who does
~~cough cough the pentagon cough~~
indeed. A lot of people who shouldnt have a CLUE as to what happened are claiming missile strike
They are now claiming Iran is bulldozing the crash site.
Thats awful dumb if true
I guess Raz0r didn't actually read the passenger list.....
