Saw a vid yesterday of a HK protestor getting shot by a policeman, such an outrage
Not mentioned in the headline was that the protestor got shot while approaching a policeman who had already drawn his gun to protect himself from getting bashed, and the protestor got shot in the process of trying to grab at the policeman's gun
Think what you will about HK but goddamn, don't get surprised if you get shot while trying to disarm a police officer
In a life and death situation you look out for yourself first
Every thing else comes second
It’s a lesson we are going to confront soon
Yeah, one can't stand by and allow other people to do violence onto oneself
In that situation the officer could not have known what would happen once he was disarmed
And he wasn’t planning on finding out either
I believe firing their gun would have been warranted and tolerated behavior in the US as well
Or most anywhere in the world, really

I actually have a friend who engages in polyamory. But heres the sad reality when you do that, the man gets no extra partners, the wife bangs any and everything
He goes on and on about how "humans arent meant to be monogamous because of our evolution" but people with that stance arbitrarily set a cut-off for human evolution that ignores the last 20-30,000 years of it
They ignore the fact that after then humans tend to be VERY monogamous and that is why we achieved the civilization we have today
This is also the person who used the fact the human penis is flanged as evidence of polyamory
