they show a picture of a resort that's been ravaged by a natural disaster - something that has always existed - but the people living there are not what the label "climate refugee" is meant for
if you listen to obama's speech at club of rome, as an example
"climate refugee" for them means overpopulated 3rd world areas where the local people cannot feed themselves.
the west is already overpopulated
so they cant possibly come here
they will all have to go back
they cannot feed themselves because change in climate supposedly has inhibited to their ability to produce enough food. but they don't factor in overpopulation or just lack of ability when considering this label
