@Boniface Do you support state enforced eugenics? Or just letting those incapable of handling basic life situations die off organically?

2019-12-09 16:50:52 UTC

I would be ok with state enforced eugenics in certain situations.

2019-12-09 16:51:44 UTC

As for those incapable of handling basic life situations, I think where I draw the line is at people who don't want to improve.

2019-12-09 16:52:33 UTC

The way I look at it is this, success is not about never failing, its about having the perseverance to keep moving forward in the face of adversity.

2019-12-09 16:52:53 UTC

Health is not about never getting sick its about doing what you can to get better when you do.

2019-12-09 16:53:17 UTC

Strength is not about never needing help its about knowing when you need it and getting it and bringing yourself up.

2019-12-09 16:53:35 UTC

Weakness is wallowing in degeneracy and not wanting to get better or not having the courage to do something about it.

2019-12-09 16:53:49 UTC

If some people are wallowing in degeneracy and not doing anything then fuck em.

2019-12-09 16:55:11 UTC

As for when I would be ok with eugenics, its not something I put a large amount of thought into but one example would be something like, having an immigration policy where immigrants agree to get sterilised to come in the country

2019-12-09 16:55:39 UTC

If people want to come live in the US but they have to agree to get sterilised and they do so voluntarily I don't think that's immoral.

2019-12-09 16:55:54 UTC

They agree to do it, if they don't want that they can stay home.

2019-12-09 16:57:50 UTC

That is a reasonable position I can agree with to a large extent. But even then, the question is also as to why some people don't want to improve. Say they have been dealt horrible biological cards. I think a reasonable position would be requiring that anyone who will need welfare for reasons related to biology should be sterilized via reversible procedures, such as a vasectomy in the case of men, until they do not longer need it. What do you think?

2019-12-09 16:57:52 UTC
2019-12-09 17:00:09 UTC

I do agree to some extent with the immigration part though.

2019-12-09 17:02:12 UTC

Hmm.. I'd have to think about that some more, because doing this sort of reversible sterilisation back and forth on millions of people each year would probably be exorbitantly expensive.

I wonder if it would be possible to have a quiz that could accurately predict race

2019-12-09 18:42:20 UTC

like get people to answer 100 questions

2019-12-09 18:42:30 UTC

and he quiz can predict their race with like 90% accuracy

Really sums up critical theory in a nutshell. Hard to believe that crap has Academics dedicated to it

2019-12-09 23:03:03 UTC

@Boniface hmmm maybe advocating for a slightly smaller welfare state could solve that problem so that over time, the cost of vasectomies and other sterilization procedures will be compensated for? Or it could be made illegal to have any more kids when you are on welfare for biological reasons, this being told clearly to any welfare recipient, and the ramifications, namely that having any kids anyway will results in no increase in welfare, being explicated?

2019-12-09 23:10:17 UTC

Personally I think I'm more interested in what people can do outside of government intervention. Maybe the government should change its policies but I wonder if it would be possible to have the change happen from the ground up. Have some sort of ideology or religion or teaching or even technology that makes people be more "generate" from the ground up so to speak.

2019-12-10 01:46:14 UTC

You know, I just noticed something.

2019-12-10 01:47:40 UTC

Lately I've been exploring a lot of white nationalist ideas and content and propaganda, just out of curiosity (I have a habit of exploring different ideas and ideologies) and I've noticed something. Edgy content is addictive.

2019-12-10 01:48:36 UTC

I don't know what neural transmiter is responsible for this but I've noticed that when I get exposed to this sort of "edgy" content I get sort of desensitised to more tame, mainstream stuff.

2019-12-10 01:49:07 UTC

*radicalization intensifies*

2019-12-10 01:49:37 UTC

Even if I don't agree with the edgy content, even if I don't think its right or true there's something pleasant about the experience, it feels sort of exhillerating.
