and anything closely related to anarchism hasn't been experienced in 1000's of years.
thats the point though, the societies that the brutes set up are not ancap internally
I'm not saying brutes will take over ancap society and have free markets
I'm saying if you do have complete anarchy the brutes will take over and you won't have free markets in their society
we live in the inevitable endgame of ancap where the markets are not free in any meaningful way because brutes took over
What I'm saying is that, without a proper understanding of man, mankind, political systems, and general economics and the missing factor in all of these systems that breeds the offspring of it's own demise will be time and time again rehashed and relived.
Simply man is not a anarchistic being nor is he a complete free spirit. Man needs guidance and role models and he also needs some space to breath and exist to degree's within propriety and moderation.
lets say you have a society that is baseline ancap, but brutes take over basically everything, but they do so within ancap guidelines in that they get the consent of the people they govern and people are free to opt out. you can opt out of the brute's society but like you said you can only have what you are willing to enforce with violence. so lets say you opt out of the US, but you want to keep your home, you will have to enforce it with violence when the brute, (the US) comes knocking at your door with guns.
It's basically AC M8
@Boniface Funny thing is almost none of what you wrote would happen in such a manner.
I'm describing real life. If you just stop paying taxes, try to annex a part of the US, they will try to fuck you up. Am I wrong?
baseline ancap society= never
"but brutes take over basically everything, but they do so within ancap guidelines" = Maybe by sheer coincidence but never intentional.
"you can opt out of the brute's society" and the berlin wall was meant to keep outsiders from coming in ;)
"so lets say you opt out of the US, but you want to keep your home" as long as you pay your taxes america is for sale.
annex yes, not pay taxes well there are ways to get around that one.
pay taxes, respect laws, don't annex land, etc
and the berlin wall was just part of physical reality
If you want to live on your own
be a one man island
but you live in the middle of the soviet union
you're on your own man
You're tresspassing on the government's territory
if as a single individual you don't have the power to conquer and secure land well tough shit
Yes this is the end of both extremes in reality.
because both end here
but the truth is "anarcho capitalism" is never and will never be the road taken.
it's just completely antithetical to human beings.
not in the way anarcho capitalists hope it will be taken
exactly
never as it is
thus it is not
I just thought of something.
I wonder if the human brain does any form of quantum computing
since it has evolved over hundreds of millions of years, with the laws of quantum physics being there the whole time
I wonder if there are some quantum shennanigans that out brains take advantage of
the brain is an analogue computer, it operates on differences in potential.
Sure but from the little but of neurology I know I think there is still quite a bit we don't understand. Obviously quantum computing wouldn't be the only thing going on in the brain but can we absolutely rule out some sort of quantum phenomenon getting involved in human cognition?
well, it's probabalistic and not deterministic, so it can be considered *quantum*
consider each neuron to be a simple core with a small cache
it's unknown wether there is an upper limit to the number of states, one would presume at minimum, there would be three (high, low, median, in terms of voltage or *potential*)
these can be seen as analogous to yes, no and maybe
