And they're surprised when these kids with literal superpowers become corrupted and evil?
The Sith have a pretty sound philosophy tbh.
the age thing depends on the mindset
Luke gets in because he has nothing
Anakin was like... 8 and he was considered too old
Anakin was emotionally unstable
the only people calling for "smaller government" are The Sith
as a kid
The Jedi are extreme altruists, almost Communists, preference for your own emotional and physical wellbeing is frowned upon by them. You're existence is devoted to the thankless job of helping "innocents" who will inevitably become dependant on you.
And Luke didn't "get in" as there was nothing left. And even then boomer ass Yoda didnt want him to start training
Palpatine did nothing wrong
Luke was okay, since he subtracted the obviously flawed elements of the Jedi Order and their practices.
Actually Yoda didnt want him to fight Vader yet
the jedi receive their special magic blood from their mothers
a victim of circumstance..
he even employed so many migrant workers in the imperial army... formed mostly of blacks and maori
the whole think is a perversion of european mythology
"too old he is, yes"
Still, I'd be a dark Jedi, you get to use the dark side, but aren't some master's fuck boi.
Nah Palpatine had those Death Stars built
Grey Jedi, as people know them, are a myth.
why not build a bridge or a road1?
grey Sith are best
13% of the Jedi......
Grey Jedi are basically light side equivalent to Dark Jedi.
just think of the countless hours people have spent with that ridiculous fandom, because they have a hardon for a merit based ideology
You can't use both the light side and the dark side at the same time. The dark side consumes you, like a drug, and using the light side after that point only weakens you.

@nr I thought the Jedi were based on Samurai.
not really
Well, they're only based on European mythology in their titles, knight, scribe ect.
they're more based on European knights but without the armor
No, their religion is mostly based on East Asian martial arts and philosophy. I'd say the Sith's theology takes influence from Satanism.
wut?
its all fucking cringe
Jedi seem to subscribe to an ideaolgy of zen Buddhism, despite the hypocrisy of preaching asceticism and altruism but sitting on heaps of taxpayers' money and leading the most well-armed and well-funded military in the galaxy.
But my Star Wars lore is a tad rusty, I'll admit.
