Maul was never that strong to begin with
they just needed the fanboys to love the new Maul though
Maul could jump higher, and use his legs to grip onto things like Gevious.
Gevious was extremely underused though.
At least the 2003 series explains his weakness away by having Mace crush his lungs, even if it was ham-fisted.
But CW turns him into a laughing stock.
I suppose an exception was when he attacked the Mother Talzan
This grevious was OP as hell
Delivering dozens of strikes in seconds
yeah
everyone was OP in the 2003 CW
Tbh, Grevious in theory should have been able to kill any Jedi Master
As delivering 1000s of strikes a second cannot be blocked
even with max force sensitivty
Literally the only time Gevious was a badass outside the 2003 series. https://youtu.be/wIoIpJ5eou8
at least up close
the 2003 CW got Anakins slow slide into the Dark correct
Disagree.
Anakin went through a lot in CW, and his upbringing didn't teach him how to deal with it. He probably had PTSD.
They actually show him struggling, and go into his hidden affair more
the re-boot CW never even touched on Anakins temptation over the course of 4 seasons expect maybe one time briefly
Tbh, I think TCW did it better
On Mortis
The torturing of the genosian
Clovis.
Okay
they didn't do it better
but they were competent
@21ooAB Pretty sure CW has a scene like that in an unfinished episode. Same race as Watto.
He's obviously prejudice against Watto's race.
hard to believe the entire run was barely over 2 hours

Tbh his transition to the dark was always understandable, Lucas was just a shitty writer.
You have PTSD, wife is pregnant and your getting premonitions of her death in childbirth, so not only do you blame yourself, but you can't go to anyone about it because to do so would be to risk getting kicked out of the Order that basically raised you and gave you everything, but also indoctrinated you to never express any emotional distress, so your basically bottling everything up, only to be promised the solution to all your problems by one old man, who you trust, just as much, if not more than the Order.
I mean, Palpatine basically acted as a father to Anakin.
