English is too simple, i wouldn't know how to explain it. Words are short, monosyllabic or bisyllabic, some words don't even exist so you make up dual terms like "bring up" which has no connection to bring or to up, instead of a new word.
Words also sound flimsy and they never end with a firm sound, especially when the end has "e" or "o".
And especially, the fucking lack of synonyms. In spanish there are synonyms for everything each with tiny different nuances for slightly different situations. Even poor people know two or three of most of them and in a day use several times more unique words than the average English speaker. In the upperclass it even is frowned upon to use the same word within like 30 seconds. You even have to say "sorry for being redundant" if you do.
