I'm not voting for anyone in the upcoming election. I barely pay attention to what's happening or when and why elections happen. I hate mainstream politics.
Everyone in school talking about how they watched the debate between Corbyn and BoJo; they like to feel adult that they're involved in politics but admit they don't understand it. They're told that it's good to be politically involved, so they are. It's a joke.
In the school mock elections, nobody knew who any of the parties were, or the candidates. Many still don't, but pretend to be experts when they repeat talking points word for word.
@FriendlyOldHans42 No ballot, they don't trust us. Me and the Nepalese kid made posters for the student elections in 2017. "Make (school name) great again" and said that the opposing candidates supported "big teacher policies". The posters were torn down pretty quickly and one of the girls got super pissed, and I was like, 'wtf'.
