Doesn't Indias massive overpopulation drive down their hdi compared to black nations?
I'm sure there's better ways to measure production output and quality of life

@Stonecutters India scores even lower for IHDI which takes into account inequality
what good is a toilett, when it's a given, as soon as we establish the bowl in india the zogs come and bring them the diaper fetish

How does one take "inequality" into account for a measurement that is measuring something unequal among nations
Hollywood could remake the Monsters as a all female version and call it Le Munchers
That’s the IHDI list
Adjusted for inequality
India is 99 on IHDI and Barbados is 58
I cponsider every country with a border as far superior to mine
got India a border?
No Border, No Walls
HDI falls!
Somebody gotto go, hey, hey, huhu, hoho

@Stonecutters
standard human development index takes an average in the areas of mean years of schooling, expected years of schooling, life expectancy at birth, and gross national income per capita. But it doesn’t account for income inequality! However the UN has published a report that does take income inequality into account and it’s called the IHDI.
It did make a difference to Angola and Zimbabwe who scored relatively high on the standard HDI but fairly low on the IHDI. Tbh it’s a fair better measure. India scored medium on the standard HDI but low on the IHDI due to huge income inequality.
The good news is that on the IHDI there are still plenty of black majority nations that score higher than plenty of Asian, European and Latin American nations such as St Lucia, Jamaica, Barbados, , Gabon among others.
