Well, you could get a fellowship or something and get paid. A lot of PhD students teach or get grants and stuff. You can wait and see if you get a fat envelope before quitting your job

I only say so to convey to you and hopefully have you affirm that since *you cannot* be accountable for every malign act which this philosophy could justify then you cannot justify applying it upon the principle that it is reasonable as a mode of life or organisation with this prior knowledge.

If you don't have any courses in physics, maybe take one course without the degree-track at a local univeristy
