branded well

2019-12-27 19:40:50 UTC

I actually like the design.

2019-12-27 19:40:55 UTC

it's a bad design

2019-12-27 19:41:00 UTC

not only aesthetically

2019-12-27 19:41:04 UTC

but aerodynamically

2019-12-27 19:41:14 UTC

I mean, yeah, it's a bad truck, but it's very minimalist. Everything futuristic is minimalist.

2019-12-27 19:41:25 UTC

sharp edges create turbulent flow/high reynolds number

2019-12-27 19:41:32 UTC

that's drag

2019-12-27 19:41:54 UTC

I feel like Musk was inspired by the robot from Interstellar.

2019-12-27 19:41:57 UTC

the de soto airflow has better aerodynamics and it was built in 1934

2019-12-27 19:42:13 UTC

shit and piss

2019-12-27 19:42:18 UTC

except for under the car

2019-12-27 19:42:26 UTC

of course aerodynamics under cars sucks

2019-12-27 19:42:28 UTC

no pun intended

2019-12-27 19:42:34 UTC

Everything futuristic needs to be cubic and minimalist.

2019-12-27 19:42:40 UTC

That's the rule

2019-12-27 19:42:41 UTC

that's dumb

2019-12-27 19:42:49 UTC

everything futuristic needs to be optimally efficient

2019-12-27 19:42:55 UTC

what about the numerous clickbait articles proclaiming "the cybertruk is more aerodynamic than you think!"?

2019-12-27 19:43:01 UTC

lol

2019-12-27 19:43:03 UTC

k

2019-12-27 19:43:21 UTC

I know, but that's the look Musk is going for, and looking at architecture nowadays, he's spot on. Once that truck becomes mainstream, it'll fit in pretty well with most modern cities.

2019-12-27 19:43:24 UTC

The future is garbage

2019-12-27 19:43:27 UTC

Everywhere

2019-12-27 19:43:27 UTC

the cybertruck is a prime example of a company telling others what to like

2019-12-27 19:43:30 UTC

Trash planet

2019-12-27 19:43:32 UTC

I mean trucks already are trash for aerodynamics

2019-12-27 19:43:34 UTC

Stop living in the 90s

2019-12-27 19:43:38 UTC

but the cybertruck can't pull shit

2019-12-27 19:43:47 UTC

@Str3tch cause it's cool

2019-12-27 19:43:58 UTC

id buy the cybertruck

2019-12-27 19:44:01 UTC

if it had rgb

2019-12-27 19:44:09 UTC

And drive it over Muslims

2019-12-27 19:44:10 UTC

Cybertruck keeps you safe

2019-12-27 19:44:17 UTC

Defense 100

2019-12-27 19:44:50 UTC

Though I personally like the juxtaposition found in a lot of futuristic media, which is something you see in Interstellar, with the classic looking corn farm with romote controlled harvesters.

Notice how this guy is still driving a Ford in the 2060s? See, in many ways the future won't be too different from now. There's only so much you can advance.

2019-12-27 19:45:50 UTC

I reckon people will still be driving cars from the 1970s in the 2070s, just because we like the way they look.
