2019-04-24 01:23:22 UTC

2019-04-24 01:23:31 UTC

well im white but I am hispanic

2019-04-24 01:23:38 UTC

boomer parishes break canon law changing mass as they see fit

2019-04-24 01:23:50 UTC

not saying you should go there

2019-04-24 01:24:11 UTC

yeah but if sspx sticks more to tradition it should automatically be considered better

2019-04-24 01:24:19 UTC

hmm, perhaps it is more justifiable in your situation

2019-04-24 01:24:20 UTC

@Orrbit its not and I cannot convince you because I forgot the argument at home

2019-04-24 01:24:34 UTC

2019-04-24 01:25:27 UTC

Worst thing I've heard was my local priest saying _it doesn't really matter if you don;t believe in Mary as long as you believe in the Lord_

2019-04-24 01:25:33 UTC

@MawLrtrue

2019-04-24 01:29:56 UTC

Hm, if the priest is brown, at least in Mexico, he's probably novus ordo

2019-04-24 01:30:09 UTC

just an observation

2019-04-24 01:30:21 UTC

gg

2019-04-24 01:30:41 UTC

if a cardinal is brown he's usually an absolute champ though

2019-04-24 01:31:01 UTC

true

2019-04-24 01:31:22 UTC

and if hes from venezuela hes probably an antipope

2019-04-24 01:40:13 UTC

To be fair, jesuits are lowkey jews

2019-04-24 01:43:23 UTC

dominicans are what you want

2019-04-24 02:54:20 UTC

Anyways, in all honesty, Mexico probably is not fit for a large scale traditionalist movement, mainly because locals, be it race-mixed or natives, have a great disdain for anything European

2019-04-24 02:54:53 UTC

what about the days of Guadalupe? Didn't 9 million convert in a year or something?

2019-04-24 02:55:56 UTC

How can they want tradition if it's something not deeply rooted, and as for that, it usually just fuels the syncretism, as someone mentioned here before, it becomes more appealing to the locals and it counters the actual goal of promoting traditional catholicism
