Hunger is mostly a meme. You can suppress the feeling and the cravings.
Once your liver runs out of glycogen, you start burning fat for fuel.
The more carbs you eat, the more glycogen is stored in your liver. And the amount that goes over the liver's capacity, gets put stored as fat

If you want to know how you can fast without feeling like death, its mostly about drinking saltwater, in addition to regular water
What about switching and eating only breakfast and lunch then fasting from noon to breakfast the next day?
Your last meal should be max 12h before bedtime
Otherwise the hunger kicks in and makes falling asleep really hard
I try to have my last meal 9hrs before bed
I go to bed no earlier than 12

The snake diet is mostly geared for fat loss, although you can exercise while fasted. You will burn fat even harder. I will certainly try working out and fasting simultaneously during winter, when I dont have to bike 30min daily to work. That was I have more control on the pressure I put on my body.
Cole (snake diet guy) has made multiple videos where he yells about being able to work out while fasting, although for now I will stick to omad. He also advised doing 3 and 3. 3 days fasting and then 3 days workout with omad.

so black coffee and unsweetened tea are fine

Black coffee helps curb your appetite
some things might have artificial sweeteners that spike blood sugar and take you out of a fasted state
so it's generall best to stick to black coffee, tea, and water
