Novus Ordo host capitalist mass where they share business card eucharist
@Mozalbete ⳩ I would be willing to dump essays on you if you were willing to retract the statement that you would call me a hypocrite for doing so.
Also, (I don't know if it applies everywhere, but I know in some orthodox communities, it is the case, because I have observed it and had it explained to me by Orthodox Christians) that infants do not receive the bread, but only the wine, so I guess the Orthodox are just as guilty of separating the body and blood as they have accused Catholics of doing in this discussion
It's obvious that if you were to immediately disregard what I would say, I would have no motivation to even talk with you.
When you stop complaining about le ebil scholastic 😎
@aaron2509 That's a weak point to bring up, because orthodox at least give infants communion
That muddies the waters for that line of discussion
@Mozalbete ⳩ you could at least pretend to be interested in having a conversation with anyone other than yourself
it would make it easier for me to want to try to have one with you
@ChuuniMage Dude this is the filthput. I ust wanted to make a point about how there is nothing wrong about theology
There isn't anything wrong with theology. I'm just skeptical of theology that ventures too hard into strict, narrow definitions that move further away from the simplicity of the faith that makes it accessible to both laypeople and those who research deeply.
If I need to double-think about anything that's happening in the liturgy or the sacraments, something's wrong.
Giving infants communion is a red herring. You're just bringing that up because you can't answer the fact that you've been confronted with the fact that the Orthodox do something that you have just said Catholics are wrong to do
Also, there are Orthodox communities that don't give communion to infants
So, again, if you're going to get on Catholics for doing something, at least pick something that is absolutely NEVER done amongst the Orthodox
@Daniil Eucharist is one of the reason why I attract into the Orthodox and move to the Orthodox.
Perfect Eucharist = using both of host and chalice
