Idk like the times I've gone before tbh I either didn't really know what was up or was exhausted for one reason or another, so I didn't pay much attention outside the homily, but this time I was a lot more aware and yeah, no latin in the latin mass. Came in and first thing was like 10 minutes of announcements, they put some woman younger than me in charge of their high school ministry (not even my prot church would do that) and mist if the rest was done by some blue haired old susan. Then the actual mass itself was done and the scripture was read by the same susans (besides the Philemon reading, which was surprisingly well done by an old guy with clearly some public speaking skills), then the rest of the mass was fine I guess besides the singsong english sounding awful, and the hymns all being alternate lyrics to protestant hymns I know. Homily was alright, but I always want the preist to have a bit more courage. He seems just afraid to offend or challenge the congregation too much, he always has really good setup for strong points and then pulls his punches too hard before the end. Idk was just a bit disappointing, but I'll probably be back next week.
