How do you want me to put it? I know that I shouldn’t be scandalized and I know that Rome still holds authority and I adhere to said authority, but seriously, you’re borderline cringe by defending Francis for his opinions; I can have a valid opinion of disgust seeing how our Pope basically loses credibility bit by bit, doesn’t mean I’ll back from the faith
@MawLr if reading these articles scandalizes you then you should not be reading them at all. This doesn't mean that you pretend that there are no problems in the Church or the Vatican at all, but rather that you choose not to give them your attention unless there is something positive that you can do about it. It's about cultivating the virtue of Hope. Furthermore, you should spread scandal around needlessly for the sake of others around you.
Finally, we moderns are all too fixated on opinions of this or that. Valid opinion? Maybe, but what exactly does that mean? Well that just means that you have a view on something, and it's not entirely arbitrary. It's not anything special. Gossiping is a form of sharing your opinion, but we don't say they have a right to gossip (at least not morally).

I will humbly accept your comments, but if this means we should completely ignore what happens at Rome, what happens with our bishops and what happens in the synods, at the end of the day, we'll be like the women whose candle oil finished before the groom arrived, if we do not keep vigilance, we'll soon realize that we could've helped others avoid falling for the wolves in sheepskin, truly I agree that silence is often the best way to go, but we have reached a point where even those Cardinals who advocated for silence can no longer keep quiet
You can cite this or that time when we had an unpious pope, but the truth is that modern times are unprecedented with the sheer level of apostasy, you have homosexuals running the show and money being the true evil behind it all
I agree, and if you try to take it all in then you will be scandalized. It can lead to despair even
Which is why we ought to avoid blackpills
I am also well aware that I, being a cesspool of vice and sin, cannot ask a fellow human to live in accordance to virtue, however I am not questioning how the Pope lives, I am questioning actions that were completely avoidable and that go against the very institution he leads, for I care not about seeing his sins, I care about that which is established as law for those under the service of God
And I'm afraid that giving the Holy Communion to a person who openly defends a condemnable sin will only lead to major confusion amongst those shallow in the faith
I already have had people come ask me to what degree is this or that condemnable, excusing themselves in that the pope said this or that
People look at him as a leader, and those who are not well versed in the faith will take his opinions as a good starting point, thus leading them to truly blind themselves in justifying sin
Furthermore, we must not forget that even when our bishops or popes are morally or theologically compromised we are still under their authority which comes to them from God. And because of this relationship we have to them we own them a manner of respect. Far too often trads are willing to disrespect the bishops and the Pope and make excuses for it.
I know that you are right that president Fernández and others like him should not be given Communion not only because of the public sin which they continue to profess (which ought to bar them from Communion) but also because of the scandal it will cause for those weak in the faith. But are you helping anyone by spreading the scandal? My inclination is that you are not helping many people at all, and in fact may be hurting them because either they will think it is morally acceptable to do as Pres. Fernández, or because they will be harmed in the area of Hope.
Furthermore, there are also areas where you can point to in order to correct errors in what people think about Pope Francis's opinions, which are not nearly as Liberal as most people think, granted he is wishy-washy and vague often.
And downright wrong even
And by the way, I just want to say that I think we're now having a much more productive talk today than the other day, and I want to thank you for that.
