In the last 40 years this country has gone from devoutly catholic

I walk the streets of dublin seeing Satanist art on the walls, I see immodesty and immorality. I see LGBT flags everywhere and socialists in our government

But from my experience of politics and my knowledge in it I can tell you fascism will not nor ever work and a monarchy (especially anything with dynastic succession) will not work. It's too corruptible and doesn't have good safeguards

You only have to check examples to see that while fascists and monarchies are able to uphold values, any other democratic monstrosity does not. You can speculate about what qualities are important for a monarch, but in the end, whatever is done, must be authoritative.

I want a governmental style like Plato's republic, but renewed to include an extended hierarchy and a judicial system. There's *limited* democracy, very limited but you don't elect any old toff to a position, in order to get a position in any governmental department you must be educated in that area. Also any governmental system can uphold values, it just depends how efficiently they can hold onto them and the consequences and ability to revert once it goes wrong.
