@Deleted User canonization doesn’t mean someone was a good person it means he had a clear love for God and lived by it, and for the many Saints who I think did terrible political actions I do not revoke their canonizations
Canonization in theory means "this person is in heaven"
In theory? No, in fact.
That's why we pray to saints. If they weren't in Heaven, we couldn't be sure that they would be able to intercede for us. But since we know they are in Heaven, and gaze continually upon the face of God, we can ask them to pray for us.
🤦 Duh.
Theory as in theoria as in the counterpart to praxis
Oh, sorry.
Guess I got a bit carried away.
kek
All good my man
Going to venice today
Nice
Just don't go to Constantinople afterwards
Why?
...Oh wait it’s gone 🤣
If only they came back this all would have been avoided
Guys it is time again. The filthy heresy has spouted it's ugly head again.
http://cathar.org/
Well dang.
Time to polish the papal armor!
It is still small so it can be smashed pretty easy
Looks like it's a bit different, though, as would be expected.
These Cathars believe in God is female. I don't think the medieval Cathars thought anything like that.
So according to the heretics, these heretics are heretics
Yes, but it's not the case of the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
no of course
they are all heretics
But there is a very real danger here
"new" spiritualities that try to claim legitimacy by just being old that have elements such as a "female god" could easily spread
Apparently it is already easily spreading.
If only they had some kind of forum we could infiltrate...
"In the Bogomil and Cathar text Gospel of the secret supper, Lucifer is a glorified angel and the older brother of Jesus, but fell from heaven to establish his own kingdom and became the Demiurge. Therefore, he created the material world and trapped souls from heaven inside matter. Jesus descended to earth to free the captured souls"
Oh, great, they're Manicheans!
It's like Mormon mental retardation
Theologically challenged individuals
Theologically illiterate i mostly call them.
Certainly.
@Romanus Drevo The demiurge is just relatively common in 'general' gnosticism.
Yeah, true enough.
So they are not 'Manichaens' by just believing that.
