I dont think we would get bored because all the time we spend in heaven and what we do will be met with the new world and we get to live in that and thrive.

People's visions of heaven always fascinate me, how complex and grand they always seem to be

Nothing wrong with that at all of course

But I've always seen deceptive simplicity in the nature of God

I feel like heaven will be much closer to the Garden than the kingdoms of men and the dreams those kingdoms have instilled

In the presence of Christ, what mysteries could we still claim worth pursuing?

I think rather it will be something more akin to the building of an eternal cathedral

We were created to worship and glorify God, and there is worship in all we do

I think we will be given all we need to do our part in building that eternal temple so that we may labor in joy and peace in that which we love, in the way that best brings glory to Him on high

The mason will forever hew stones of majesty, the artist paint perfectly images to revel in His grace, the singer given the space to sing songs of praise in one accord, in every tongue and yet in harmony

I don't think perfection is going to be perpetual understanding or learning, but a sort of Chestertonian perpetual newness

God will continue to create to His glory and pleasure, but he is also the same God who has raised and set the sun from before the first breath of man
