2019-04-06 17:50:00 UTC

only thing i like about the mormons is that they believe God will give them a planet of their own

2019-04-06 17:50:04 UTC

2019-04-06 19:40:36 UTC

2019-04-07 05:17:06 UTC

Maybe Id consider it if I were American

2019-04-07 05:17:55 UTC

Join an identitarian movement in your nation then

Nah, indentitarians are fake and gay

2019-04-07 05:22:08 UTC

@Daniil perhaps some movements but not all

2019-04-07 05:30:25 UTC

Im Australian. Identity Australia is run by sectarian greeks who have been doxxed

2019-04-07 05:30:49 UTC

Besides, identitarians are fairly milquetoast

2019-04-07 06:39:43 UTC

Don't bother with identitarianism. Find like minded locals, buy land, start your own community. Taking back society starts with taking back your household, then your neighborhood, to your city, county, state/province, and so on.

Movements are diffuse, too spread out to have any real, immediate effect if the world doesn't already significantly lean that way. You have to build foundation from the ground up if you want your children to have a future.

2019-04-07 06:41:20 UTC

Literally used to talk to others about doing this. Found a town & had detailed plans for taking it over, creating jobs & creating our own food supply to become somewhat self sufficient

2019-04-07 06:42:33 UTC

I'd love to live with like minded folks. Problem is so many turn out to be useless practically speaking. It's fine to be an academic, but there is only room for so many. You need people who are actually willing to learn shit and do shit

2019-04-07 06:43:32 UTC

Lot of people talk a good game, especially in trad circles, but I'm an architect. I can do manual labor, but my academic skills don't mean shit if I can't find someone who can do at least what I can physically

2019-04-07 06:44:40 UTC

Precisely. That was the problem I had. I was more than willing to use my skills to better the community, I even went and scouted the place out myself, interviewed the locals and gathered intel on the surrounding area. Granted, it was easy being as I’m from the area myself, but my notes were rather in-depth

2019-04-07 06:45:04 UTC

Where generally were you thinking?

2019-04-07 06:45:28 UTC

I’ll pm you

2019-04-07 06:58:33 UTC

Having an autarkic commune would be ideal, but I believe its the fruit of previous labour. There is a group in Australia that acts as a communal fraternal what-have-you and they have ideas about owning businesses to help out downtrodden brothers. But that kind of dosh doesnt come from nowhere, and founding a community isnt the result of sheer collective will

2019-04-07 07:03:34 UTC

As we talked about in pm, I’ve always felt it was “easier” in a way to talk over a crippled town and bring life back to it. It’s a lot of work, no doubt, but easier to find backers such as investors and politicians. I myself had a lot of support in the town my guys and I used to look at. I had political support all the way up to the state level for funding, and had been tipped off about an investor willing to donate up to $1mil to get the town back on the map.

2019-04-07 07:05:21 UTC

One issue I think many groups who want to organize have, is finding a way to resonate with the rest of society in a way that won’t get them immediately rejected and put under heavy surveillance.

2019-04-07 14:23:50 UTC

My problem is that I seem to be the only trad person within 500 miles out here in CA. A guy in /cult/ has a good idea of starting a business of only trad people, but nobody seems to have any overlapping skills, or skills that lend themselves to telecommuting.

2019-04-07 14:26:51 UTC

Plus most of you are aussie, and I don't want to live in straya.

2019-04-07 14:30:39 UTC

Btw, have any of you heard of Guild of Gentlemen? (They're on insta) Can't tell if upstart or LARP

2019-04-07 15:09:09 UTC

Most of us are Aussie? Since when?

2019-04-07 15:45:14 UTC
