Just sincerely repent, and pray a rosary as penance.
Ok
It was a sin of ignorance
So you're fine
It wasn't willful
@TexMan Catholics don't have that hard of an abstain, unlike us. You don't need to eat meat only on Fridays I think
If I remember correctly
2 smaller snakcs
Like an energy bar or smth
The 2 smaller snacks cannot be together more than a single meal.
Ok
@Deleted User what is it like for Orthobros
1 meal+ two smaller snacks
@Deleted User really strict
They have ti fast the entire week iirc
So basically we have recommended periods/days of fasting, such as lent, and every friday of normal weeks.
It's mostly based around of your Health. If you can't abstain from something do to health issues, don't do that.
But it's: Eggs, sweats, fish, meat, bread, butter, alcohol, milk products
So basically my healthy diet lole
During these days, abstaining from meat is reccomended, but some other form of penance can suffice (cold showers, rosary in cruciform, charitable work etc.)
That's a hard fast
Also some can abstaining from something "spiritual" or something similar. Like: No swearing, idk abstain from society etc
@Deleted User Нет, но я русский православный
Then we have obligatory days of fasting (but post V-II "obligatory" means some retards dont understand what that means), these are: Fridays of Lent, Good Friday and some others which IDK about.
Here, abstaining from meat is a must, you are allowed 1 meal and 2 smaller meals.

@Jay Dubya Ого, а где ты живёшь тогда?
@Deleted User same with Catholics, abstaining from swearing and alcohol are common during lent to replace the reccomended daily fast or abstinence from meat
But I'm of the mind that you should abstain from swearing at all times
with swearing it was just an example. (You should use them less anyway)
I hate swearing all the time.
@Deleted User Америка
Swearing is part of my culture
Wait! do us Catholics also have to fast this Saturday and Sunday too?
If you swear all the time it loses its impact
And Lent is more of a 'giving up' of a thing that in and of itself isn't sinful, but surrendering it as a way to temper your desires, promote virtue and sacrifice to god. Hence, the better sacrifice the better
It already lost it's impact in English language
In Russian language, the "swears" are much "stronger"
