Cheers. 👍
Seen Russian Orthodox Christian named Danil at my Parish
Fluent at English.
He also helps our parish, reading pslams in Church Slavonic.
Also About the Paschal Troparion, I heard Greek, Church Slavonic Latin Paschal Troparion in my parish from Choir.
@Βασίλειος Θεοδόσιος interesting does daniil know of danil?
Danil in my Parish said he is from Moscow
And My Chrismation name is Leo so I introduced myself to him as Leo
In Russian, Lev
You guys introduce urself with Chrismation names? Can I do something like that?
Even I change my fb name from Alexandros Nikephoros to Lee Leo Se-Min.
Lee is Family Name, Se-Min is Given name, Leo is my Chrismation Name at Russian Orthodox Church
Thats dope
idk why but its dope
I really love My Family name, My Given name and My Chrismation Name tbh
And Also I like The greek name that I made.
I heard that by default I was given Joseph so I guess my confirmation name is Joseph
That's not a western tradition, unfortunately.
If you become a priest or religious, you get to pick a saint name.
If I were to become an oratorian, I'd choose Sebastian after Blessed Sebastian Valfré.
so I dont have a confirmation name?
I think its a personal decision @LuxCo
I thought that was only a Tradition if there was already a priest in your area with the same name.
@Dang_Isaiah ah ok
what's up nignogs
muh niqqah
A pilgrimage to Ethiopia would be dope tbh.
>Ethiopia
nice, i was just writing a guide on how to not eat food
KEK
Reminder that the Etymology of Ethiopia is Greek and means "Land of burnt faces"

Oh dear, my friend is *very* drunk.
He's a sheltered chap who rarely drinks.
So when he came out drinking with us, he lost the plot.
Oof first order of reaching drinking age is figuring that limit, rookie mistake
He's been sick
Called him a cab.
I have to go to confession tomorrow.
I bought him drinks when he said he had enough. This is wholly my fault.
Well, the über had no interest in driving a drunkard.
It's the joyous nightbus for this chap.
Oof
