bringing a hedonistic and comfortable modern man to the rigors and spiritual strictness of eastern orthodoxy will be quite the battle 😂
Truly a worthy heir to the parents
Well, show her that she is just a reiteration of her parents' mindset
Big upboat
It's a step by step process, once you convince her of one thing, it will set off a domino effect and eventually she will begum
The modesty and rejection of modernity follows
I do know that
yeah
but -- figure this --
she's from germany, and has no possibility of coming in touch with church members
and she's pretty much surrounded with lgbt
anyone knows germany's in a bad relationship with the church
Lots of eastern european diaspora there.
If i could find a romanian church in a small danish town, so can she
ayy, my people are everywhere
bunch of serbs in Germany
The benefits of multiculturalism - communities that aren't stricken with the gay
funny how westerners tend to accuse eastern europe of overreligiosity and poverty, and yet the west is leading in depression, godlessness and overall unhappiness
Ah yes, eastern europe is the bastion of happiness and totally not degenerate as the american bible belt.
nobody held that
We have our problems.
Different problems.
I wonder what the happiest place on earth is
Uh.
I knew this.
Iceland or something.
One of the nordics.
They use a lot of anti depressants
How can that be since the Nordics have the highest consumption rate of antidepressants
Yea tf
The metric they use to claim some place is happy is just by how much welfare they have
That's also true.
But kind of relevant.
Is a Bangladeshi coal miner really *that* happy because we installed sewage in his village?
I consider Costa Rica as the happiest. They're very poor, but they are the safest central american country that their neighbours want to live in.
They've been in the top 5 I think.
So this year number one was Finland.
But it isn't that high on this list.
Im amazed that Norge managed to dodge that list
