Is that meant to be an excuse?
No
Then?
I dont like drinking
But they incite me to do that
Dude, grow a spine and tell them no
Like damn bro
Look, it’s not rocket science, if your friends make you indulge in sin, distance yourself
Wrath if you want to make fun of me just sod off
Ah
It's not that hard to say no to people.
I know
I am trying
I dont want to be an outcast
I’m not saying you should call them out for being degenerates, just distance yourself, make up earthly excuses and such
An outcast?
And MawLr you can't talk, you succumbed to your friends asking you to go out and drink with them plenty of times
Because i dont drink yes
And I distanced myself
But very well, I can’t talk.
I distanced myself, I no longer hang out with them, I am alone, I moved and now live alone, but if you feel like bringing out someone’s dirty laundry to discredit them, so be it
I'm just reminding you that it took a little while for even yourself to leave that situation. This kid obviously is having mixed feelings about this.
> And MawLr you can't talk, you succumbed to your friends asking you to go out and drink with them plenty of times
Yeah, if you say so
Well, guess if we’ve ever fell to sin we can’t talk about not falling for it
hey lads, found out my lil cousin who's about 10 years old has a snapchat account, anyone have any pics of those degenerate snapchat tabloids on the Stories page that I can send to my uncle?
lmao
@Helter Seltzer ☧ you can google more if needed but these seem pretty disgusting to me
yea thatll do lol
sheesh
For once, I'm inclined to agree with Wrath.
A miracle, I know...
Speaking from experience, distancing yourself from unrepentant friends isn't a walk in the park, and it requires more than "just do it, if I can do it anyone can".
Separating oneself from these people can be a very lonely and isolating experience.
I went almost a year without friends after I took the effort to cut ties with those who encouraged me to sin.
@andrei4563, try to find some good, young Christians in your area.
Ones which you can trust to be kind to you, and (charitably) hold you to account.
