If you take America out of nato, the other countries would have to make up for that, on our account, it is sky high and there’s a lot we can do, and I’m sure theirs a lot you could do wherever you are, but most of the problems come from businesses having the power to lobby government to put things more in their favor, lies bring them to power, and effectively they enslave their competition and the people with the law.

I've never understood why people don't see it that way, and I say that as someone from the defence sector

why is it seen as okay for the state to pay me to sell them products that kill other human beings, but suddenly we're in sketchy territory if the state starts paying doctors?

On the healthcare thing, get the government sanctioned monopolies out of place, this will drop the price of pharmaceutical products, testing, and certification, along with now being able to sue mistakes instead of vote for people to hopefully write policy to fix it, and hope it gets passed when voted on years later.
Make insurance more accessible and affordable by taking a lot of the excess cost and regulations added to insurance, for example, people shouldn’t have to pay for things they don’t need to be insured for, instant price drop, allow companies to have to compete with insurance from other states and a lcu option.
Again, price drop, for the excess cost, certain government agencies put excess cost and startup restrictions on insurance, the cost for schooling doesn’t help here either for the cost of insurance and the people who study it.
Automation already takes part in some high level surgeries including neurological surgeries.
Bringing automation into it not would make one of the most expensive careers when it comes to schooling and time consuming I might add, becomes less desired as a career, but also the cost of medical cost would drop across the board like lead.
