Yeah, im kinda happy to let the people sort out social issues, as A. I don't give a shit
And B. Despite a belief in despotism, i don't believe in micro management
neo reactionaries tend to favor feudalism in the european sense
Feudalism was foolish
Too de - centralised
yea you're different
I think you really are your own thing
I like the Egyptian moniker of the pharaoh as a shepard
really interesting
He doesn't tell the sheep was grass to eat
He stops them entering his neighbours paddock
Or eating anything hazardous
But yeah, i developed my beliefs before i was exposed to other ideologies
Have you ever read dune btw?
Because I've had people tell me im like a less justified Leto II in what i think
nope, seen the movie a long time ago though
GG @Terry Arcona, you just advanced to level 2!
Essentially in the fourth book
Dude becomes a deity, and breaks the cyclical nature of societal decay
Ill put it like this, i think everyone wants to create a paradise for their people in the end
Success
A country grows, exerts its power
It becomes strong and bloated
There are no enemies to keep it on its feet, no outside issue to stimulate change
So all that's left is the occasional reformer
And with its wealth and cradle of power it falls to corruption, or becomes weak in the face of another power due to arrogance
And falls
Such is the cycle of every civilisation
All have gone through it all go through it
Well except those that get crushed beneath another
This cycle of decay limits greater progress and creates conflict
Out of the ashes of a collapsing civilisation, new ones form, and it puts back development
In ancient Egypt there was a concept called Ma'at it had no real translation, but it's sorta a mix between, divine order, and tranquility, Egypt lasted thousands of years
I want Ma'at for all of humanity, for all time, so that no child ever be plagued by the unjust loss of parents, so that none starve, or needlessly suffer
Tfw i just ranted the fuck out of this channel
Rip LCU
maybe no one starved but people didn't really have that great of lives, slavory was rampant in Egypt
Ma'at was only conceptual in Egypt, and for the ancient Mediterranean they had quite fair lives
Egypt to me was a starting point
