tbh the only reason why I want new Half Life game not VR is to see how Valve will handle the built up hype over the years

Of course it's not gonna be great, it's just plain curiosity how they will do that since DNF fucked up badly

No fucking way would it be a good move to ever release HL3 at this point

there's absolutely no way they could live up to hype

The only way I could see them would be to have amazing AI/gunplay

Crackdown 3 is looking like it's gonna be a victim of this, too

Because if you look back at Valve history they more or less experimented with vidya

it had a troubled 5 year dev time, so when it releases and it's just...alright... people are gonna immediately inflate that to it being BAD

Yeah, to do the physics in multiplayer

and everyone is saying the multiplayer is hella good

But the singleplayer is just meh from the sounds of it

DR 2 is extremely forgiving

3 is trash

There is so much of the shit just laying around

You only need 4, and you get the first for free, you can find the rest either on the ground or from rescuing people or killing psychos

Not to mention that even if you fail your EXP and money carries over to the next play through

Yeah that, I imagine that not having so much time available makes it so I am more and more afraid to fail since it means that I just wasted time

The time limit is almost negligible though
