A5 can drive up to 300 but I thought you'd want it to be a little higher than the head phone

if tis marked 300 it most likely will be some bit under it

just so 300ohm drivers can drive it as its marked 300

at least most electronics are built like that

It's not loud that I'm really looking for. I have an iPod for music and if I plug in a 100 dollar headset or the Sennheiser's, they sound they same. I just assume having a headphone amp would improve the hd600s to where they don't compare to a gaymers headset
