kaetaa, is there a chinese food you'd recommend trying if someone gets the chance?

There aren't any restaurants where I'm at, but out of town there definitely are

hmm. well chinese food and western chinese food are totally different. so, if yo usee some authentic chinese food, id have to say to try soup dumplings. They are like little steamed buns with meat inside and a little soup. so you suck the soup out, and then eat the meat with vinegar

What I absolutely love about Asia (I only visited Chinkapore, though) are the affordable restaurants and great street food, which makes sense since people don't cook that much at home (in Chinkapore you usually work till late)

if you're ever in fujian you should try their noodle broths

and fish balls

byte: yeah, I know region makes a huge difference, but I think if I tried hard enough I could find anything in LA

And that sounds really good kaetaa, I'll have to try it one day

yeah; "cafeteria" and greasy spoon type places used to be prevalent in the west when people actually worked for a living but they fell out of favor for expensive restaurants

In the end it was really expensive for small portions, closer to a chuck e cheese than amusement park

the worst part about going to chinese places is the language barrier for the actual good food

If they said the gyoza was bagged but fried well I would believe it
