@fruitloops.exe Try to be as accurate as possible. Best case scenario, they'll figure out you messed up and guess your meaning. Worst case, you'll piss someone off by saying the wrong thing or have people laugh at you.
@fruitloops.exe tones do matter a lot. Like má means mom but mâ means horse so you gotta watch. However if you get close enough most chinks figure it out cuz they'll think of what makes the most sense cuz someontimes I forget which tone a word is and I'll just say it with light tone or wrong tone and usually they figure it out but it takes them a second.
