tfw western born chink competing against mainland chinks

2017-08-06 20:26:04 UTC

but after they finish uni, most of them go back to china anyway <:thonk:288060975775612929>

2017-08-07 00:11:25 UTC

It's so true about he said they operate. My uni was biggest in state to foreign students, the biggest being China, and they never even tried to make friends with locals, or even barely ate local food. Speak bare minimum of English, do bare minimum of work, cheat, only speak Chinese, stay in their dorms, and then fuck off back to China after getting their degree so they can work a 6000 RMB a month job

2017-08-07 00:12:21 UTC

Where the other students from Africa or India etc speka great English and do their best to try new things and make friends with locals

2017-08-07 00:13:23 UTC

I've never understood how someone could study abroad from China and then ever want to go back to China ? After seeing the first world I would make it my duty to never return to this shit hole

2017-08-07 00:15:32 UTC

Chinese are infectious . They make up a big portion of world population and ruin anything they touch or anywhere they go. Why is that

2017-08-07 00:17:34 UTC

I'm not even being racist .

2017-08-07 00:30:32 UTC

I had better experience with chinese students on visa

2017-08-07 00:30:54 UTC

The guys I met were pretty fucking smart though

2017-08-07 00:31:17 UTC

Once you go to the lower level unis, the ones easier to get into, then you'll hear stories about the cheating

2017-08-07 00:31:45 UTC

My understanding of them going back to China is to take care of the family and/or run the family business

2017-08-07 00:32:43 UTC

Something about the mainland culture where cheating isn't punished is how it gets all topsy

2017-08-07 00:37:54 UTC

id agree with you, these chinese kids can math style on you all day

2017-08-07 00:38:34 UTC

they just drill drill drill their whole life, so they are well good at math, and can do any one skill very intensive like coding etc.

2017-08-07 00:39:04 UTC

but logic and problem solving is non existent

2017-08-07 00:39:04 UTC

there's a greater screening processing among the better universities

2017-08-07 00:39:18 UTC

well, of course

2017-08-07 00:39:22 UTC

I went to a tier 2 in the US and for the most part they were better

2017-08-07 00:39:37 UTC

it was when I went back home and saw those on the EB-5 non student visa ones

2017-08-07 00:39:45 UTC

which made me doubt their overall ability

2017-08-07 00:42:06 UTC

they are very good at a few small things, and can do those very well effectivelly - how else could rip offs come on ali express within a few days?

2017-08-07 00:42:39 UTC

but my students cant do presentations, write papers, use logic, solve problems, or do anything that requires more than 1 part of the brain

2017-08-07 00:42:48 UTC

they need to focus on one thing

2017-08-07 00:43:12 UTC

i knew guys who could

2017-08-07 00:43:13 UTC

just the way the chinese education system works

2017-08-07 00:43:23 UTC

well obviouslt there are exceptions

2017-08-07 00:43:25 UTC

Koreans in my experience are kind of better because of conscription, I think. Maybe they need something like that to get the shit slapped out of them for a bit.

2017-08-07 00:43:37 UTC

sorry if im retarded but whats conscription?

2017-08-07 00:43:47 UTC

it's mandatory military service

2017-08-07 00:44:07 UTC

Koreans in general are bit better

2017-08-07 00:44:13 UTC

ah well china has mandatory military training for kids before they go to high school

2017-08-07 00:44:19 UTC

but its like a camp

2017-08-07 00:44:23 UTC

so not the same haha

2017-08-07 00:44:27 UTC

Just in terms of the quality of work produced

2017-08-07 00:45:27 UTC

I didn't work with Koreans until recently, but in general I was not as disappointed when working with them

2017-08-07 00:45:28 UTC

Huh, didn't know that. Problem is now I'm seeing too many draft dodgers, average Korean is okay but those are the worst in terms of shitheadedness

2017-08-07 00:46:09 UTC

mainlanders I worked with who didn't come from a decent university are just third world tier

2017-08-07 00:46:31 UTC

Shitheadedness in what way?

2017-08-07 00:47:11 UTC

Just no common sense and such, same as the Chinese.

2017-08-07 00:47:12 UTC

The trouble I had with them was that, they were much more hierarchical

2017-08-07 00:47:15 UTC

oh
