Looks steel enforced, else the pillar would've been cracked like a clean..
that's the least I'd expect from a highway bridge in a territory with high seismic activity
I don't expect anything anymore when chinks may be involved.
Remember when in Korea 3 buildings collapsed and it turned out the owners cheaped out on a Chinese building company...
Taiwan sets really high safety standards for Asia

Its really unsettling here
There's a noticeable earthquake every 20 min or so
had trouble sleeping for 2 days now
You never know if the next quake is the one
Never experienced a quake in my life. What's it feel like?
Feels like your house became a boat that's navigating rough waters
Airplane turbulence would be a better way to describe it
Well those are both things that I have experienced and what the fug
That sounds shit
@porco The point wasn't low safety standards,
it was that chink companies don't care about them anyway.
It's APM, pretty big mall, wouldn't fuck up especially with Hong Kong being stricter
it's been so fucking weird the last three days
can't go a few hours without another one
never mentioned i was in the south, i'm in taipei
You felt it in Taipei wow
I have friends in Hualien and they were scared af
Do you live in a tall building?
can't imagine what it's like being there and feeling quakes every half hour
i guess? 10+ stories
felt like airplane turbulence
for the 6.4
Do you remember the big Tainan earthquake in February 2016?
the one where the shoddy building collapsed?
Yes with the oil cans inside the walls
yeah
not sure if i felt that one
I was riding a scooter in Changhua while it happened any my first thought was that the scooter must have had some defekt. I thought it was the suspension breaking or a flat tire or something
That was the first earth quake I ever experienced
No idea how you guys can live with that
I keep an emergency kit around
Taiwan #1 besides the quakes
