not allowed to add my card
You can charge Ali Pay with a wire transfer
According to their website
Oh
They accept giro pay which is implemented in Denmark
Usually I just give my friends cash, then go to a bank where there is a reverse ATM kind of thing and then they buy whatever for me
And Sofort Überweisung, which I know works in the Netherlands, but I'm not sure about Denmark
In general I'd prefer just not to get too involved in Chinese registration
I don't really like tracking and all that shit, and china is literally the worst country for that
What banks ali-pay accepts
Sofort Überweisung and Giro Pay
Huh
well thanks for the heads up!
Ever been to mainland china by the way?
Also turn off bluetooth if you're not using it <:palethink:328535816597012480>

What are you interested in by the way? As in what field within tech?
@kaetaa did you teach English at some point in China? Since I got fired today, I'm considering to just move to Taiwan and start teaching Italian there until I find an actual job
But I'm not sure what that would mean. So did you teach at some point?
What happened to your promotion?

Yeah I tough English most of the time I was there
@porco it's totally different in China and Taiwan for teaching languages tho
what did you get fired for?
not being white enough
He got fired TERRY
i quit because its a fucking joke
they dont actually want u to teach, and the kids dont actually want to learn so
i hated the kids because chinese parents dont discipline their kids
(not all the kids. the teenagers were generally much better and spoke pretty good english)
I worked with kids whose parents were rich as hell, taking them all over the world every vacation
and yet the kids knew nothing of the world
it was bizarre
Then I had some students who studied abroad for like a year (even primary school students, like people being sent to USA to study in a public school for a year at age 6)
which i thought was really stupid, because they came back speaking fluent english, and then their parents would sign them up for more english classes
and the kids always complained about how much china sucked and where they went (USA, australia etc) was much better
it always made me laugh
