And yes I am fat as fuck
And it's ironic because most Chinese aren't fat, but the grandma's who judge people for it are the ones who usually are overweight
Young chink women have it the worst. If guys get fat in China their family is like proud that he's eating well and working hard
If a girl gains 1kg her family starts calling her fat saying no man will ever want her
It's really horrendous how they treat the women here. It's the only country in the entire world where more women suicide than men
you've hit the thing about guys getting fat right on the head
one day, im being told im anorexic because im not a fat fuck
next day, im getting called fat and beer belly on the verge of becoming diabetic after i have one drink the whole year
im fat when it suits them, skinny when it doesnt
👌
Haha
I saw this Asian old man stare at this fat white dude like wtf they make them this fat
the see him stare at another 2 white dudes
I don't think he mean any harm, he's just fascinated by white people
he chuckled a bit when he was staring at the white dude
Everyone speaks cantonese in Guangzhou I have no idea what's going on haha
I'm in a real dirty corner of the street to eat some local food. Hopefully it's good cause it's nasty
what's the mandarin to cantonese ratio there from your experience? <:thonk:288060975775612929>
gz
It seems like most people who are local speak cantonese. The younger people speaking both
I don't have much experience I've been here for 2 days haha
heard it's pretty chaotic there, even for china?
how's it like compared to that tier 2 city you lived in?
Haha in the area we are in id agree there is a fuckton of people
Doesn't taste great. Just basic poor people food
>bombed tilings
I couldn't eat there without judging the owner into oblivion
Most of China looks like this. You get used to it
We usually eat in the nicer places but meh
Its interesting. On our walk back we walked past a street that had 20 shops with air conditioning stuff
Components, repairs, systems etc
And then the next street was a rare currency street with 20 shops
Bunch of old currency from China etc
It's always like that. A whole street dedicated to one thing , but they all sell the same stuff
My old city had a wig and hair street. Bunch of barbers and wig sellers
So I'm assuming that one shop opens,is successful, then a bunch of copycats open up shop right next door
I mean it's bizarre like 10 shops in a row that all look almost identical
