Yeah, thats what I mean by no one gives a shit it can work everywhere but things are mept in line at least somewhat by it not being worth the risk because some people get caught
Or people actually believe in the rules of society and the laws but I'm not that optimistic
there are strict food safety guidelines
but my god its not enforced at all
the inspector is just a guy who goes to the restauraunt and they pay him for a score
either A B C
i've never in my 2+ years in china seen an A
and fancy places can afford to bribe more for a B
then 95% of places have a C
no one checks the inspectors they are corrupt government workers who have no standards or managers
So where do you eat in China?
just tidy the place up and make it look nice for the inspector
after which, it's an E or G in practice
being generous
nah they donteven do that. inspector shows up, they pay him, and he goes

I suppose I'd just say fuck it and just not order anything salady and hope its cooked through enough to kill the germs
we are forced to judge food places from online reviews and the apparent cleanliness from the front of house
but you do better when you come to the real truth
its all dirty
so just give up
and eat
when there are bugs in our food, or plates stained with fat (not cleaned with soap) and we ask for new ones
we never get an im sorry
or any acknowledgment of wrong doing
they just pick it up and put a new one
dont wanna lose face ya know
a lot of places will give you your plates/cups/chopsticks in like plastic wrap
Had my father tell me that chinks eat well one hour ago
so it looks like its factory sealed or something
but you open it and its all dirty haha they have a machine in the back they wrap them in
Like opening a can of worms
May look nice from the outside, but it's still a can of worms
what did your dad mean
I have no clue
He's retarded like that

i will say one thing about chinese is that only eat "fresh" food
they are 100% serious about it
they believe the more dirt on the vegetable the better
