i will say one thing about chinese is that only eat "fresh" food
they are 100% serious about it
they believe the more dirt on the vegetable the better
more bugs crawling around the better
means its all fresh from the farm
they rarely buy dead animals - almost always try to buy a live if they can
>more bugs crawling around the better
sounds like uncivlised villager bs to me
or all a lot them like that?
thats a bit of an exageration on my part, but we did find a snail in our lettuce this week
Why not just eat the bugs like those civilized countries like France?
and fiancees mom had np with it, just peeled it off
😏
said it meant the lettuce was fresh
I mean, I wouldn't trust anyone else there to sell me good meat so I would try to slaughter my own if I had the time.
chinks go the grocery store literally every day
so its always packed
the grandmas will go at 6am
and rush the store like its boxing day or black friday
because they think the freshest stuff is there when they open
anything less isnt good enough
they will sit there and go through every grain of rice before purchasing
to make sure its keen
ive seen them sift through raw flour in their hands
before buying
they touch and squeeze everything to make sure its perfect
even stuff like nuts
inspect every individual nut or kernel
they eat relatively healthy at home
its mostly rice with some meat/fish and vegetables
usually with soy sauce or vinegar garlic ginger etc
chinese almost never bake
chinese homes dont come with ovens, so its an option to buy a little toaster over
id say 85% of chinks dont own one
and have never baked in their life
(or only a handful of times)
they prefer boil, steam, and fry
and every ingredient has its "purpose"
this fruit does X, this vegetable does Y, this ingredient does Z
always some kind of chinese medicine crap that they say everything is good for you
how about microwaves ?
