But if you want to make good turbo Kimchi, use warm, heavily salted water for a few days before putting it in dry salt, instead of doing it right away
Will lead to acceptable Kimchi within 1-2 weeks

It's really nice for heating up stuff though, it's heated in a much more regular way than microwaves. Also it doesn't soften as much
Even meat leftovers from the day before are somewhat enjoyable when heated in a rice cooker

I have a basic model and it can do that, just keep track of time. Tho I also have a steamer so I tend to use that
