There are some extremely white chasing ones, like in every Asian country. There is of course the general attraction towards exotic looking people. More girls smile at me in Taiwan than for example in Italy of course. But I wouldn't say they are more white chasing than other Asian girls. Taiwanese society is just more nationalist and less internationalised than let's say Singapore or Hong Kong, therefore Taiwanese men talk about it more

But I wouldn't say more white chasing, just the usual attraction towards people who look differently than your neighbour.
