@spacecel Ultimately I think it boils down to the fact that the powers that be are unfunny. That tears them up inside. And they can't allow people more clever than them to exist (being humorous is a sign of high IQ). It would ruin their narrative of being powerful and in control if people were laughing about things they didn't approve of
