Your metabolism slows down once you're skinnier but you really shouldn't worry about it until you're like trying to lose that last 10-20lbs.

The past year and a half has been a fitness journey for me. Heaviest was 218lbs and lightest was 163lbs. I lost 30 pounds in 3 months. I weigh like 179 rn but if I compared it to the 179 when I first started, I look a lot thinner now. The skin just doesn’t rebound immediately. Just have to keep at it and make it a routine. So if you want my advice, don’t let yourself get overweight because the cells just don’t go away

In the end, body mass doesn’t really mean much. It helps for the initial phase but it’s pretty easy to figure out if you’re doing better physically, regardless or the scale
