They don't take away your disability money. They just break it up into portions so you don't gt it all at once when you make overa certain amount per paycheque. If you still collect 1k in entitlements they can't reduce that amount. All they can do is section away the difference between your current earnings to compensate and then distribute it to your account later as opposed to every 1st of the month.
So for example, if I were to collect 1k per month and then get a job that earns $2500 I would instead of getting 1k get around 500 one the first of the month and then around like the 15th get $200 and then on the 20th collect another $200
