Ironically, I just called the Democrat/Socialist party a cult

2018-07-06 17:41:08 UTC

It pretty much is these days, in the mainstream at least

@Call 1-800-273-8255 was just watching it, sharing with my friend who works at YouTube.

More news for fellow califags

@J Edgar Curious to hear your thoughts on his general sentiments, if you get a chance to watch. This video just randomly popped up on the side

I'll look into it. even though I didn't really advertise it until last year, I think I might be the progenitor of walk away

2018-07-12 06:45:48 UTC

Interesting

2018-07-12 07:05:03 UTC

I guess I don't like that it's a "movement"

2018-07-12 07:05:49 UTC

One of the reasons that I left the left is because I started to notice a very big groupthink that was going on, and I don't necessarily think that groupthink is effective in the long run

2018-07-12 07:06:25 UTC

I'm glad that so many people are walking away, but once it became a hashtag, I started to feel like there was societal pressure to go along with it

2018-07-12 07:12:54 UTC

I put a link up in the other links to a written article I wrote 8 months ago, chronicling how I left the Democrat party, or more accurately, how the Democrat Party left me.

2018-07-12 07:14:45 UTC

But the thing of it was, I didn't advertise it urging people to do it as well. My entire goal with starting my blog, and my video channel was not to try to push people into joining the red wave. It's always been more important to me to to present the facts that I saw, and comment my opinion on said facts, and let people come to their own conclusions on their own terms.

2018-07-12 07:19:02 UTC

I don't want people to vote Republican because I tell them to. I grew up in a Union Household voting Democrat because of that. I want people to vote the way that they think is right based on the facts that they see and how they interpret them. If you just lead a group of automatons to pull the red lever and think in a group instead of teaching them to draw their own conclusions and letting them vote red because they think it's right, then we're no better than the Democrats were in 08 and 12

2018-07-12 07:19:58 UTC

Then we wind up with a group of people that have no idea what the issues are and are instead voting Conservative because it's popular, and then letting media outlets and thought leaders tell them how they feel about the issues after

2018-07-12 07:22:45 UTC

And then a rigorous super right winger comes into the scene and everyone jumps on his bandwagon, because he's right wing and that must be good, and then the party turns super extremist and all the work that the Libertarian wing and the small government wing spent the last 6 years trying to accomplish gets swept into the new extremist views of the next enigmatic thought controller

2018-07-12 07:28:19 UTC

My video channel, my writing, and my work revolves around freeing minds. The walkaway movement is another way to enslave them. Do I believe it's convenient that they are voting people in office right now that have an agenda that runs parallel to mine? You bet your ass. But given the chance, I would trade convenience for liberty, and anyone who wouldn't is not truly patriotic.

2018-07-12 07:30:07 UTC

And you have to understand, even though these people are switching sides in a record number, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it

2018-07-12 07:59:11 UTC

Do you think people are as forgiving as he says with the Democrat party?

I do think there could be *something* the Democrats might do soon in response to #walkaway and if they lose in November, but I can't even imagine what form that would take

2018-07-12 08:00:30 UTC

I personally think once red-pilled, always red-pilled. But I don't think #walkaway 'ers are all red-pillers. I think a lot probably are. But I think others are just a little disenchanted with their party, and may have the possibility of moving back into it if big changes are made. I'm no expert by any means, just a general hunch of mine

2018-07-12 16:01:07 UTC

I've been saying it for 10 years. It looks like Styx has been saying it for a while. Matt and Blonde have been saying it for a couple years. The voters who's dicks the democrats are sucking want a more and more extreme socialist, until they actually find Marx incarnate, or perhaps a real Hitler incarnate. But they'll never associate Hitler with socialism because "Muh Racism". Whether you love or hate Crowder, he did a really good video on that.

2018-07-12 16:03:09 UTC

And with the popularity of the Republican Party fueled by a hashtag movement, this is where I predicted the Republicans will go probably within a couple terms. I don't think Trump is the candidate they think he is. I think his successor is, though

2018-07-12 16:04:35 UTC

they think that Trump is the candidate I speak of, if only because he's a direct reply to the betrayal of the working class that Obama spent 8 years enacting

2018-07-12 16:16:06 UTC

I'm going to be completely honest. I have no way of knowing what the end game of the Obama Economic plan was. I've had some theories, but in the grand scheme of things it made no sense the way our world is structured currently

2018-07-12 16:30:18 UTC

Ok, As far as forgiveness goes, I misunderstood that the first time. There is always going to be a block of Democrats who won't vote Republican no matter what. My Dad is one such person. They're usually old union guys who have been told from the late 70s forward that a Republican in the Executive Branch means that their jobs are going to Mexico
