I am Christian, but I choose not to associate with any church
Okay, I understand where you're coming from. I've always been one for the very small time churches
None of that megachurch nonsense
If they're not talking about bible verses we tend to walk out. Because everything else is unnecessary, for us anyway
yeah, not even the small churches get it right
The small methodist church in the small farming community that I live in....the one my ex goes to, is purely a cult
That's a shame
So is the baptist church that my friend in Kenosha goes to, but if you follow my channel, in the near future you'll get to see that conversation
Its really eye opening for me when I'm used to the good side of things, knowing that there's so much abuse on the flip side
Yeah I'll definitely tune in
Never take the words of Bloggers, Podcasters, or Journalists as Gospel. Find all the facts and draw your own conclusions
^^^^or religious leaders
Absolutely. And well Christianity really holds that truth is revealed to you if you genuinely want to pursue it. While I think it's technically possible for a church/community to 'share' faith with one another, I think that ultimately the personal/spiritual relationship is largely (and perhaps must be) something you possess alone. Leaders should want to encourage personal relationships, not the "you must be one of us" stiik
Ironically, I just called the Democrat/Socialist party a cult
It pretty much is these days, in the mainstream at least

Feeling pretty black pilled right now.
@Call 1-800-273-8255 was just watching it, sharing with my friend who works at YouTube.
More news for fellow califags
@J Edgar Curious to hear your thoughts on his general sentiments, if you get a chance to watch. This video just randomly popped up on the side

I'll look into it. even though I didn't really advertise it until last year, I think I might be the progenitor of walk away
Interesting
I guess I don't like that it's a "movement"
One of the reasons that I left the left is because I started to notice a very big groupthink that was going on, and I don't necessarily think that groupthink is effective in the long run
I'm glad that so many people are walking away, but once it became a hashtag, I started to feel like there was societal pressure to go along with it
I put a link up in the other links to a written article I wrote 8 months ago, chronicling how I left the Democrat party, or more accurately, how the Democrat Party left me.
